Welcome to Training:
Leader Training

Scouts WA provides training opportunities to all adult members, to develop their leadership skills and ensure adventurous, fun, challenging, and inclusive programs for all Members.

The training program is designed to provide the knowledge and expertise to develop and recognise the skills of youth or adults that you are leading, as well as growing your own leadership, skills, and knowledge. Adults are trained in leadership and management, program delivery and support, problem solving, creativity, organisational management, and outdoor activities.

Depending on your chosen leadership role you will complete Youth Program Leader Training or Program Support Leader Training. The training consists of a variety of On the Job Phases, On Demand Learning Modules (online) and Face-to-Face training courses.

The Woodbadge training program is designed nationally by Scouts Australia, to meet the requirements of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM). The training program is developed and delivered by a team of qualified volunteers.

On Demand Training for Child Safe Scouting and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) for Scouting are mandatory requirements for all Adult Members.
We look forward to seeing you at our future courses:
