St. George's Day Ceremony
St. George's Day Ceremony is a time for Rovers to celebrate and pay respects to St. George, the Patron Saint of Scouting. It is traditionally held in King's Park on the 24th of April, but has also previously been held in St. George's Cathedral in the City. Rovers take the opportunity to remember their knightly vows, and all other Scout Sections are invited to attend and enjoy the ceremony and learn about the legend of St. George and the dragon.
