Canning Rover Crew to run Sand Moot 2008

Last nights WARC saw the election of Canning Rover Crew to run Sand Moot in March 2008.

In a vote between Canning and North Beach Rover Crews, Canning took out vote with their Survivor themed sand moot against North Beach's Greek themed moot.

Sand Moot 2008 will be held from Friday 28^th of February to the 3^rd of March at the Vasse Campsite.

Canning Rover crew during the floor discussion last night “we want to run this event as we have some younger members in the crew and we feel this will be a good opportunity for them to learn how to run an event before the older crew members get booted”.

Canning Rover Crew will soon announce exact costs for the event but stated that they should be similar to last years costs which were $50.
